“What is the favor of God, and how can we seek it and not His hand?”

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

Grace is often identified as unmerited or undeserved favor. However Favor comes through obedience, not man’s works. The word Favor can be found 70 times in the English translation of the Bible. Favor can come in strange places such as in a prison, especially when you are the prisoner.  Remember Joseph was falsely accused of seducing his boss’s wife, he was sent to prison. While Joseph was in prison, “The Lord was with him and showed him mercy and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison”, you can find this in Gen. 39:21. Joseph was so highly favored that the head keepers of the prison gave him authority over all the prisoners, and did not “look over Joseph’s shoulder” to check out his faithfulness, Gen. 39:23.

Your present condition or surroundings have no bearing on God’s ability to bring favor into your life.

Favor can bring unexpected income to a situation. The nation of Israel came out of bondage and the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. The Hebrews didn’t borrow anything. They took gold, silver, and jewels from the Egyptians. Later, in the wilderness, Moses received an offering for the building of the tabernacle. Much of the gold and precious metals used to build the house of God was given in an offering not tithing received by the man of God. The gold of Egyptians became the wealth of the Hebrews and was used in the furniture of the tabernacle. This is a true example of the wealth of the wicked being laid up for the just.” Favor also can bring the right companion into your life, how? Well a great example of this is found in the story of Ruth. She had a lot working against her. She was a widow, a stranger in the land of Israel, and a Moabite. The Jews did not take kindly to Moabites. In fact, a curse was placed upon them in Deuteronomy, to the tenth generation. Ruth chose to make the break from her past, enter into a covenant with the Hebrew God, and allow God to direct her path. When she met Boaz, she saw the man of her dreams. Ruth said to Boaz, “Let me find favor in thy sight…” Ruth 2:13. Boaz allowed Ruth to glean in his barley field to help supply her and Noami’s needs. She obtained favor, and he gave her handfuls of grain on purpose, you can find this in Ruth 2:6.

Afterwards, he gave her six measures of grain, Ruth 3:15. Finally she had his attention, and Boaz married her! From their marriage came Obed, the father of Jesse, who was the father of King David and you can find this in Ruth 4:18-22.

So pray and ask for favor and direction, then do not chase a man or woman around trying to get their attention. The favor of God can act like a magnet and attract the right person into your life. Let’s continue… A miracle birth of a child can be the results of Favor. Many barren women in the Bible conceived after a visitation from God. Yet, one received a child and certainly wasn’t expecting or asking for it. Mary was engaged to Joseph and was a pure virgin. When Gabriel appeared to her, the angle announced, “Fear not Mary…you have found favor with God…” reference in, Luke 1:30. Under the old covenant, woman not being able to conceive children was considered a sign of the disfavor of God. This is why Hannah became bitter in her spirit in 1 Samuel 1. Hannah’s prayers were so intense; that they moved the heart of God toward her. Instead of one son, she bore seven children, reference, 1 Samuel 2:5.

Another example of Favor between God and Man can be found in 1 Sam. 2:26 when God’s Word speaks of favor with MAN. “And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the Lord and with people. Also in Luke 2:52, 52And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

Why do you think is it important to obtain favor with God? We encounter many people in a 24-hour period…our boss, our co-workers, and people we must meet with regarding appointments and business arrangements. Our entire life revolves around dealing with people. The Bible is filled with promises of favor for the believer:

Proverbs 8:34, “Whosoever findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the Lord.”

Proverbs 13:15, “Good understanding giveth favor, but the way of the transgressor is hard.”

Proverbs14:9, “Fools make a mock of sin, but among the righteous there is favor.”

Proverbs18:22, “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favor of the Lord.”

Proverbs 22:1, “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver or gold.”

Favor can help you land the deal. Favor can cause you to get the best price, bring the best contract your way, and open the doors you need open.

So this week I will ask the Question: “What is the favor of God, and how can we seek it and not His hand?”

What Does It Costs to Be A True Christian

The Purpose of my Blogs are to uplift and inform…

This Thursday, 7:00 pm est. time on www.BlogTalkRadio.com/Jesusandwe

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

The writer of this study wants us to make no mistake about its meaning. He was not trying to examine what it costs to save a Christian’s soul because it costs nothing less than the blood and death of Jesus Christ to provide atonement, and to redeem man from hell.

We “are bought with a price.” “Christ gave himself as a ransom for all”

1 Cor. 6:20; 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

1 Tim. 2:6 6who gave himself as a ransom for all people

We would like you to consider another point. It is what a man must “be ready to give up if he wishes to be saved. It is the amount of sacrifice, a man must submit to if he intends to serve Christ.

“What does it cost?”

It costs little to be a mere outward Christian. All a man has to do is to attend a place of worship twice on Sunday, and to be tolerably moral during the week, and he has gone as far as thousands around him ever go in religion.  It entails no self-denial or self-sacrifice. If we call this saving Christianity, then it should have been written and read, “Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to heaven!” But it doesn’t.

So, what does it cost to be a real Christian, according to the standard of the Bible?

There are enemies to be overcome, battles to be fought, sacrifices to make, an Egypt to be forsaken, a wilderness to be passed through, a cross to be carried, and a race to be run.

Being a True Christian is the beginning of a mighty conflict, in which it costs much to win the victory. Once one feels drawn or inclined to follow Christ by maybe of some kind of  affliction, or maybe a sudden death, or an awakening sermon, which stirred his conscience, it may make him feel the value of his soul and desire to be a true Christian. He is encouraged, he’s told his sins may be freely forgiven no matter how many or great. His heart may be completely changed, however cold and hard.

Christ and the Holy Spirit, mercy and grace, are all waiting for him.

But still he should count the cost.

Listen and hear, one by one, the things that it will cost him/you.

What Does Jehovah God Want From Me Now That I’m Saved?

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

I remember before I came to the Lord from my darkened, spiritually-dead perspective, I was frustrated and felt very along.  As a young adult I knew I was not of this world but I had not a clue of who I was.

One New Year’s Eve, I was sitting on the floor of my apartment getting ready to do the “Dick Clark thing,” yet I was bored. I looked up at the TV, and on top of it was the Bible. I picked it up, turned to the New Testament, and started reading. I did not stop for three days. It answered a lot of questions I had about who and why I was.  This certainly got my attention, and after that, the search was on.

I did all of the things I was, “expected” to do. I went to college and got an education. I worked in various positions until now. In all of this, I was still searching and seeking of how I fit in. Like most people I thought That Jehovah was there for me when I needed Him. I believed if I was in a jam or had a problem then I would be able to call out to Him and He would come to my rescue.

I also thought I was to live my life abstaining from certain sins, but when trouble would strike God would bail me out. But now since I’ve been Saved and read the Bible, I realized that I was greatly deceived.

Jehovah God wants certain things from all of us who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb and been forgiven.

Tonight I will speak on four very important things that Jehovah wants from all Christians now that we are His children.

There are other important things Jehovah wants from us not mentioned in this study.

Tell a Friend!

The Elect, just means “More Responsibility”

The Purpose of my Blogs are to uplift and inform…

This Thursday, 7:00 pm est. time on www.BlogTalkRadio.com/Jesusandwe

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

This Bible study is to be considered a deeper study. It is written about and for God’s Election of Grace, who are no better than any other Christians, but it is that they just have more responsibilities. Romans 11:4+5, 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. Baal was the name of the supreme god worshiped in ancient Canaan

This study for those that have eyes to see and ears to hear into the depths of God’s Word.

It has nothing to do with your eternal salvation, as Jesus stated: ” In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2. Jesus’ Father is God, His house is Heaven, and there is a special place within it for all of those whom believe upon Jesus Christ John 3:16.

All Christians have duties in the Lord, different but equally important duties. Duties that are different but all important and necessary part of the whole.  Each individual part is a small piece of that great puzzle which is God’s perfect unbreakable plan. If any one piece of that puzzle were missing, God’s plan would be incomplete, inconsistent, and unfulfilled, an impossibility. For God’s Word, Truth, and the fulfillment of His plan and prophesies are by Devine intercession secured, and are most perfect through-in and through-out.

Sometimes there is this feeling of frustration felt by the Elect, the election of Grace. I will now speak on five questions and answers, from the Word of God, to answers things pertaining specifically to Jehovah’s Elect. Let them serve as a comfort, a clarification, and a reassurance to any that are of the Election,

The Indwelling Spirit Jesus Talked About…

The Purpose of my Blogs are to uplift and inform…

This Thursday, 7:00 pm est. time on www.BlogTalkRadio.com/Jesusandwe

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

We have covered the Holy Trinity regarding the Son Jesus Christ and The Father Lord God. I will now speak on how misunderstood the Holy Spirit is perceived. The Spirit of our Lord God.

Ephesians- 4:30 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  (KJV)

The Holy Spirit can be defined in both the Greek and the Hebrew language. Greek word The:  word #3588 means ho  the definite article; the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc..

Greek word Spirit:  word #4151 pneuma means a current of air, breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively, a spirit, a human the rational soul, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit:

Greek word Holy:  word #40 hagios (hag’-ee-os); means sacred (physically, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated, saint. G

And, Greek word God:  word #2316 theos (theh’-os); of uncertain affinity; a deity, the supreme Divinity;

In the Hebrew of the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit is read (the Spirit holy) is: ‘eth Ruwach qodesh,  Hebrew word Spirit:   wowrd #7307 ruwach (roo’-akh);  from word 7306; means wind; by resemblance breath or even exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality

Hebrew word holy:  word #6944 qodesh (ko’-desh); from word 6942; a sacred place or thing;

Man, out of ignorance corrupted the meaning and identity of the Holy Spirit.  They often reverenced the Holy Spirit as “The person of the Holy Spirit”?  Nowhere in Scripture do we find the Holy Spirit referred to as a person, nor do we find it even written as “in the person of the Holy Spirit.”

So then where did it come from?  We as Christians do not worship three Gods – we worship one God.  The separation of the entity, the Holy Spirit of God is purely another man’s tradition, with no Scriptural support and repeated every day and week, in sermons upon sermons.  This is not a harmless error to separate the Holy Spirit as a person apart from Himself, God.
