“FAITH AND BELIEF”

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

Throughout my life, I’ve heard: “Just have faith and believe.”  But what does this mean? Believe in what, Believe in whom? Do you believe at all?

You want to do the right thing, and you want to be a “good guy, you may have even tried to think about believing in God and Jesus, but with all the deception going on in our churches nowadays you have been turned off. It has been in satan’s plan from the beginning to dilute the truth with lies so that newly exposed to Christianity doesn’t know what to believe in anymore. This should greatly upset true Christians when they see the false and greedy preachers/teachers perverting God’s Word for their own benefit.

One reason why true Christian should be upset at false preaching and teaching is because that through their lies, false promises, false teachings, and the misrepresentation of God’s Word they turn away from God which cause people not to believe that He even exists. When the lies fail to come to pass, the people blame God. But God never told them that he would stand behind the empty promises preached today in ministries.

Man can’t save man.  It is only God who does the saving, no man has any power or effect except that God wills it. You, would not even be listening to this if it weren’t God’s will. And maybe this Bible study won’t do you any good, but maybe it will. God knows.

It is my desire that you who perhaps don’t believe, would read the facts contained in this study to begin to search for more of the truth out in God’s scriptures, but I realize that our Heavenly Father calls whom He will when He will.

Jesus Never Received Tithes, Nor did He require Us to give one…

The Purpose of my Blogs are to uplift and inform…

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

The life of Jesus should be an example to us on giving. If He collected tithes, perhaps, a minister could make a reasonable argument for collecting the tithes, but He did not. 2 Cor. 8:9 “Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” Matt. 10:8 “Freely have ye received, freely give.”

Your church will also teach that since Jesus is the High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, and since Abraham offered him tithes, they should receive tithes because they, being a part of Christ, are part of that priesthood. Sounds good but cannot hold water.

As mentioned before, Abraham tithed only the spoils of war and he did not keep the rest. He gave it all away, much of it to the king Sodom. Christian ministers today cannot be called a Melchizedek priest because this priesthood is “unchangeable.” Meaning “a priesthood which cannot pass from one to another.” There can be no successor to Melchizedek. Jesus Christ was the only One Who can fill that position.

The Old Covenant had Levites and priests, the New Covenant has apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. The New Covenant has “gifts of men.” (Eph. 4:8) It also gave through the Holy Spirit gifts to men. Now if the Holy Spirit divides the gifts as He wills, then different members of the body do different things and are equipped differently to do their job.

There are those who are specifically given the “gift of giving.” What if God blesses a man in a business venture that makes that man a billionaire? What if God has given him the gift of giving and he is to give away 99 per cent of what he earns? But when he is taught that if you are a tither you are doing great, he will not actually give the full amount of what God called him to give! The man then ends up boasting in giving his ten per cent. He is then nominated to be treasurer of the church, yet is not giving the full gift he was told to give to bless the body of Christ and the world.

Remember the parables about the talents distributed unevenly among people?

I believe there have been men and women in the body of Christ who should have given billions of dollars away but, because of this false teaching on tithing, have fallen short in fulfilling their giving.

Myth #2 The Tithe as we know it is “Not Biblical!”

The Purpose of my Blogs are to uplift and inform…

This Thursday, 7:00 pm est. time on www.BlogTalkRadio.com/Jesusandwe

Let’s Take It To The WORLD…

All of my studies come from my walk with, Jehovah God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. As a young adult I always felt a grieving in my spirit when the preacher asks for the tithe. I know now why, but at the time I would obey and attempt to do what my preacher was asking of me. As I went on with my life and tried to fight this grieving I was not able to shake it. I always would question my feelings on why I kept this way.  I mean how; can a God that owned everything need money for me. And how was I robbing God when He owns it all. Even my breath. So this caused me to seek out answers to my grieving. And the way I did this was asking God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit, the question, “Was I stealing from Him.”

I took to the internet for answers because I couldn’t really ask my preacher, the one that was asking for it. Jehovah led me to this study, and I must say a very good lesson.

So tonight I will speak on the study, The Tithe Is Abolished. Which is not apart of the New Covenant but just another burden and tradition of man, placed upon those that do not study for themselves. Tonight I will explore some question that I had that answered the question I feel maybe you too would like to know about. I will speak on many of the verses used in the Bible that the churches of today, give as arguments to why you should be giving 10 per cent of you income to a church a preacher, pastor, or evangelist. I will cover passages in the Bible from the Pre-Mosaic, Mosaic, laws which Moses Taught and Early Church on how the church was financed and then what Jesus taught.

NEW REVIEWS…

Now Available in 36 libraries in the Atlanta Fulton Public Library System!

I read “He lives” and thought it was life changing. She talked about her personal experiences and her relationship with her dying father. Intellectual people are often skeptical in regards to religion but her book allows one to think of the possibilities; Pellom presents her developing relationship with God and the growth of her spirituality. It was a short and powerful message. Dr. Nesly Clerge, DC

Judith Follo rated it 5 of 5 stars
Could not wait to receive this. So when it got here I set all my other books aside to read this. Very glad I did. Being able to see how things worked out with every story made me feel like I could relate to some. It also got me questioning on how I might of overlooked things or events that God put in my way for a reason. I am gonna share this with all my friends in hopes it may uplift them like it did me. Thank you to the author for this remarkable book.
